Mr. Streeter is the Chief Instructor at the club, having trained in the martial arts for over twenty years. He received his first black belt in the Shaolin Kempo system with one of his first instructors, Mr. D'Amico.The two still train together today. In the late 1980's, Mr. Streeter and Mr. D'Amico began their training with Sensei Campos and earned the rank of black belt with the Zen Do Kai. In the year 2000, Mr. Streeter was awarded the rank of Godan (5th degree black belt) with the ZDK.

Through his career, Mr. Streeter has had the opportunity to train in a number of different martial arts including: Iaido, Kendo, and Ju Jitsu.He has trained with several famous instructors including: Professor Wally Jay, Fumio Demura, Tadashi Yamashita, and Tak Kubota. He continues to train with Sensei Campos in the Zen Do Kai, and with Sensei Stan Kiyonaga in Iaido through the Meitokukan school in Schenectady.

Mr. Streeter has had a long career in tournament competion in kata,sparring, and weapons events. He still occasionally competes. His specialty is weapons competition with the Japanese sword, and he has developed a number of weapons forms which members of the Johnstown ZDK club have used successfully in competion including kata for sais, jostaff, tonfa, bo staff, and escrima sticks. Mr. Streeter teaches seminars in kata, self-defense, and weapons, including Japanese swordsmanship. He runs a Iaido class (Tuesdays at 7:30pm) at the club where students train with Mr. Streeter and Sensei Kiyonaga.

As Chief Instructor of the Johnstown Club, Mr. Streeter believes in community service, and has taught a variety of special classes for the public including women's self-defense programs, self-defense programs for students, and martial arts programs for special needs children.

Each year the club raises several hundreds of dollars used to provide toys to the Salvation Army through a program he founded along with Mrs.Streeter.
