What the mind fears the spirit can overcome

The Zen-Do Kai was founded in 1969 by Michael Campos. Sensei Campos is a ninth degree black belt with over 40 years of competitive and training experience. In July of 2004, he turned the studio over to long time students Rob and Bonnie Streeter, and continues running the Zen-Do Kai Organization.

Sensei Rob Streeter is a 6th dan, and has been involved with martial arts for over 25 years. Sensei Streeter believes in a principled approach to martial arts, that includes the development of personal character as well as physical strength. His focus on respect, confidence, discipline, and vision has brought students from white to black belt.  He is the chief instructor and runs the Advanced programs in the school as well as Iaido (Japanese Sword class).  

Some of Sensei Streeter's accomplishments include:

  • Certified Sixth Degree Black belt in Karate
  • Certified First Degree Black Belt Kempo
  • Certified Third Degree Black Belt in Iaido

Sensei Bonnie Streeter is a 3rd dan and continues to train for her next belt rank.  She has been training with the ZDK organization for 21 years and run the Beginning Programs as well as the Little Dragons.
