We are professionally run organization, associated with Zen-Do Kai International.
All students will be encouraged to excel at their martial arts training through goal setting
and milestones. Students will be rewarded for academic achievements, community service
and good citizenship.
We set standards and goals and work with each student on self-discipline, respect, control
and leadership skills. Our studio provides the perfect backdrop for developing the skill and
determination needed to succeed in martial arts.
The AZDK is staffed by professional, experienced instructors, who have dedicated their lives to
sharing martial arts with the community. All of our instructors are certified black belts, with
many years of training experience. We offer various classes to accommodate your busy schedule.
Regardless of your age or level of experience, we have a program that is tailored just for you. At the AZDK, we not only teach technique, we build character through inner-strength, courage, vision, respect, and discipline. Black Belt Attitude is incorporated into all of our programs.
Zen-Do Kai was founded in 1969 by Michael Campos. Sensei Campos is a ninth degree black belt with over 40 years of competitive and training experience. In July of 2004, he turned the studio over to long time students Rob and Bonnie Streeter, and continues running the Zen-Do Kai Organization.
Sensei Rob Streeter is a 6th dan, and has been involved with martial arts for over 25 years. Sensei Streeter believes in a principled approach to martial arts, that includes the development of personal character as well as physical strength. His focus on respect, confidence, discipline, and vision has brought students from white to black belt. He is the chief instructor and runs the Advanced programs in the school as well as Iaido (Japanese Sword class).
